Overview

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for collaborating with project stakeholders and managers to define, manage, and execute project deliverables, ensuring timely and successful completion. This role involves coordinating tasks, analyzing data for informed decision-making, and handling administrative duties to maintain alignment with project timelines and business objectives, while keeping all team members and stakeholders informed through effective communication and reporting. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and Project Managers to define and manage project deliverables. 
  • Assist in the planning, monitoring, and execution of projects to ensure timely and successful completion. 
  • Coordinate and oversee project tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives. 
  • Analyze data to support project decision-making and enhance project outcomes. 
  • Handle administrative duties, including setting up meetings, managing quoting activities, and reviewing project documents and deliverables. 
  • Track and report on project progress to keep all team members and stakeholders informed. 
  • Prepare status reports and other project communication materials to facilitate effective project management. 
  • Engage with various departments within the company to ensure project deliverables align with business goals. 

Qualifications

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.  
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or in a supportive administrative role, demonstrating the ability to manage and support project initiative. 

 

 

 

Skills and Abilities: 

 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and project management software and tools. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. 
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. 
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project management tasks. 

 

Travel: 

  • Minimal travel requirements Potential travel to Alliance facilities domestically. 

 

 
Standard and Physical Requirements: 

Position involves sitting for long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
