Overview

The North America Operations Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the NA Ops team by working collaboratively with management on various tasks and projects. This role directly supports an operations leadership team of 13 members and acts as a conduit to the larger manufacturing operation across three sites.

Responsibilities

  • Takes pride in ensuring the role allows the support team to focus on operations, intuitive as to schedule management and takes quick action to prevent waste.
  • Coordinate Customer tours and site visits to Ripon facility.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel to update data and produce reports for leadership.
  • Support the scheduling of the annual hearing test program for all team members.
  • Assist in scheduling team member events, luncheons, and meetings.
  • Contribute to increasing team efficiency by providing support both operationally and administratively.
  • Order food for departments across the campus as needed for overtime, meetings, or events.
  • Make travel reservations for members of Ops Leadership team.
  • Provide back-up support for different data entry tasks from Operations and HR.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience/Education:

  • High School education, GED or equivalent certification
  • 1 year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Associate Degree preferred, but not required 

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) and SAP;
  • Ability to work on and complete multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a changing environment;
  • Solid attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with exceptional customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism required.

 

 Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
