Overview

Perform internal and external customer service functions to support the Financial Services department underwriting and customer service teams from application to documentation to funding loans to customers for the purchase of commercial laundry equipment for the use in coin, multi-housing and on-premises laundries in North America. This position supports the growing ($530M+) ALS Securitization facility and team members for proper documentation while navigating through and documenting proper SOX controls. 

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed guidelines and documented instructions to originate, transmit and review executed loan documentation to ensure compliance with the ALS Securitization facility.  
  • Provide communication to the Underwriting team on pending documentation required to complete a financing transaction and follow up in a timely manner 
  • Prepare and submit proper UCC filing requests to ensure ALS obtains a secured position in the collateral financed per the Securitization requirements. Prepare loan closing and funding documentation in the CRM system per company guidelines and SOX controls ensuring proper signature authority levels are obtained 
  • Conduct verbal audits with customers to review the terms of the loan structure and completion of all necessary steps for the funding process 
  • Build strong business relationships with internal financing stakeholders, including Underwriting, Accounts Payable and Operations through the final stages of the documentation and funding process 
  • Maintain database of equipment serial numbers for funded transactions 
  • Prepare and organize the electronic storage of loan file contents that are required to be submitted and vaulted for the Securitization 
  • Assist in the input of lead and application data into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database 
  • Maintain strict security and confidentiality of client credit information and uphold the integrity of Alliance finance programs 
  • Manage additional projects as assigned  
  • Provide reporting on an as needed basis 

Qualifications

Education and Experience 

  • Associate’s degree, required; bachelor’s degree, a plus 
  • 1-3 years of experience in office administration or a customer service-related position 

 

  

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong customer service focus and attention to detail, teamwork and collaborative skills, and ability to communicate requirements clearly across all lines of business 
  • Ability to independently plan, prioritize and carry out simultaneous projects and meet deadlines 
  • Working knowledge of PC-based database software 
  • Spanish language skills, a plus
