Overview

We’re hiring an Analyst to join our Procurement Supply Chain team at Alliance! In this role you will support core processes and strategic initiatives across procurement supply chain by analyzing data, preparing reports, performing research, and building tools, all with the goal of driving better decision making and more effective operations. Responsibilities

  • Design and build data visualization dashboards using SAP, Excel and BI tools
  • Procurement and performance analyses (i.e., Cycle time analysis, One-time vendor analysis, Price Variance analysis, Metrics reports)
  • Cost & process optimization assessment
  • Identifying actionable insights from the spend analysis
  • Execute, verify, modify, and distribute procurement spend reports according to predefined reporting schedules
  • Monitor cost savings or cost avoidance and reports saving progress analytics or other automation solutions to deliver (semi) automated analytics at scale
  • Collect and analyze internal data such as spend and customer requirements, analyzing historic spend data, and identifying trends and patterns
  • Support strategy and procurement supply chain optimization processes by providing data insights measuring procurement and supplier performance and providing recommendations for actions
  • Perform procurement analytics to deliver actionable insights to larger procurement team to enable significant business impact
  • Serve as a single Point of Contact for category sourcing managers and functional leads for providing category-specific spend reports
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners

Qualifications

At a minimum, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, data science, or related field required; combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered. 
  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience in an analytical capacity (preparing reports, presentations, dashboards, and/or data visualizations for various audiences).
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Power BI and SAP 
  • Manufacturing background is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
