Overview

Alliance products are used globally in laundromats, hotels, hospitals, universities, apartment complexes, fire stations and more. Our digital interfaces allow advanced remote management of laundry operations and provide a convenient laundry experience. The Digital Products team owns the full product lifecycle: we design, develop, and support these solutions. The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for identifying and delivering solutions that our customers will love and that work for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market, customer, and system data to provide meaningful insights and inform product priorities
  • Support the development of product roadmaps
  • Develop solution options that are feasible via brainstorming sessions with UX Designers and Technical Leads
  • Select solutions that are valuable and usable through a process of wireframing and prototyping sessions with customers
  • Develop Story Maps to define high-level scope and project organization
  • Develop Work Items/User Stories and supporting documentation
  • Conduct analysis/story refinement sessions with team members
  • Ensure successful delivery of products by leading delivery efforts and keeping work items flowing
  • Develop communications and marketing plans in coordination with relevant teams and stakeholders across Alliance
  • Ensure that all stakeholders have regular status updates on the implementation progress of the product

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years fo experience in a Agile software development team
  • At least 5 year of experience in product management
    • Experience interviewing customers and stakeholders to create backlogs and generate user stories
    • Ideally has led programs with hardware and firmware integration in addition to traditional software services
    • Experience conducting user research and working closely with product design/UX teams
    • Experience with Kanban processes preferred
    • Experience creating and using delivery and forecasting metrics

Skills and Abilities:

  • Team-oriented and possess strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable with different platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and backend API
  • Strong desire to learn and self-motivated in pursuit of new skills
  • Strong demonstrated abilities in both project and product management
  • Must be able to think strategically and function tactically and positively, creating a highly productive work environment
  • Ability to work remotely

 

Travel:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
