The scope of the position is support for the Ripon, Wisconsin facility. This person is responsible for coordinating calibration, instrument maintenance, CMM equipment calibration, scheduling outsourced equipment calibration, and the management of these systems.

· Maintaining calibration schedules and methods of calibration.
· Continuous measurement system improvements and supporting quality assurance initiatives requiring measurement equipment or instruments.
· Train Process Control Technicians on calibration techniques.
· Work to continuously improve effectiveness of measurement systems, database, and inspection personnel, and processes.

Knowledge/Experience:
· 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
· Tests, calibrates, maintains and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.
· Experience interpreting technical prints using GD&T and applying inspection methods.
· Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
Education:
· Associate degree in engineering or business-related field preferred.
· Candidates must be a hands-on contributor with strong written and oral communication skills and possess a high degree of proficiency with PC applications. There is a high degree of interaction with internal customers.
Physical Requirements:
· Position involves sitting for extended periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
