Overview

Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC is a global leader in commercial laundry solutions. The role of the Staff/Senior Accountant involves overseeing financial operations at Alliance Distribution offices, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

 

In this capacity, the Staff/Senior Accountant will make a substantial contribution to the achievement of the Company's distribution growth objectives. Additionally, responsibilities encompass supporting accounting system implementations and enhancements, further strengthening the control environment, and assisting with the development of efficiencies within the department.

Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with financial regulations and uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.

  • Perform account reconciliations and analysis, correcting discrepancies and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with external audit requests during financial audits, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
  • Help develop and monitor internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with the implementation of technological solutions and accounting systems enhancements
  • Interface with other department leaders to ensure effective implementation and adherence to financial protocols.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required.
  • CPA, preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in accounting or audit roles.

Travel: 

  • Able to travel up to 25 percent

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Readiness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
