Overview

The Salesforce Administrator to serve as the technical system administrator reporting to IT and collaborate with our Marketing team. This role focuses on technical administration, integrations, and platform & user security, working in partnership with Marketing to support and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Technical Administration:

  • Serve as technical system administrator for the Salesforce platform
  • Manage technical configurations, security settings, roles, and permission sets
  • Design and implement scalable solutions for complex business requirements
  • Manage integration architecture and data flows between systems
  • Oversee system upgrades, releases, and technical deployments
  • Ensure platform security, compliance, and best practices
  • Maintain development and sandbox environments
  • Handle complex data migrations and ETL operations
  • Manage technical documentation and system architecture
  • Provide technical oversight for AppExchange implementations
  • Monitor system performance and optimize configurations

Shared Responsibilities (Partnership with Marketing):

  • Collaborate on requirement gathering and solution design
  • Support marketing automation integrations and configurations
  • Assist in data quality initiatives and governance
  • Provide technical input for business process improvements
  • Support user access and security role definitions
  • Participate in release management and change communication
  • Contribute to training materials from technical perspective

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science, engineering or other STEM degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator (certification strongly preferred), with a deep understanding of SFDC architecture and best practices.
    • Experience in Mulesoft, Field Service, Agentforce, strongly preferred
    • Experience with Data Cloud, CPQ, Community Cloud, Pardot, strongly preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Ability to take on more responsibilities over time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
