Overview

This role is to assist in our digital transformation journey. As a Software Engineer, you will modernize legacy systems and build new cloud-native applications while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. Work with senior engineers to implement modern architectural patterns across our internal and public-facing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reliable software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Debug production issues and implement solutions
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Support continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus
  • At least 2 years of professional software development experience

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

Technical Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (TypeScript, C#, Python, etc.)
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns
  • Experience with version control using Git and GitHub (or similar)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools
  • Experience with RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred Technical Experience

  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
