Overview

The Payroll Coordinator position is responsible for the processing of the Company’s weekly payrolls including compliance with Company policies, FLSA regulations and Federal and State tax compliance. This position will be working primarily onsite at our headquarters in Ripon, WI.  

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely payroll processing of the weekly cycles
  • Serve as point of contact for employees with regards to the weekly payrolls
  • Enter, update and maintain employee direct deposit banking information and state and federal taxes
  • Enter, update and maintain employee garnishments
  • Work directly with the Team Leaders regarding pay adjustments
  • Create and run various payroll reports in SAP as requested
  • New hire payroll orientation for the union team members

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Two to four years of payroll experience
  • Strong Excel skills including vlook ups, macros, pivot tables
  • Experience with ERP Systems, SAP Successfactors preferred 
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines through organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • An emphasis on excellent customer service skills while maintaining a positive attitude is required
  • Accurately calculate payroll deductions, applicable taxes, and validate overtime rates
  • Ability to recommend process improvements within the weekly payroll cycles to the Payroll Manager

Standard and Physical Requirements:

  •  Position involves sitting long periods, standing, walking up and down stairs, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
