Overview

The ideal Customer Care Representative will be an enthusiastic member of a high-energy team. This position calls for an exceptional eye for detail as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Customer Care Representatives are responsible for maintaining relationships with customers, so strong communication skills are essential.  This position is based in Ripon, WI with the opportunity to work remote from home.

Responsibilities

  • Assists customers in placing equipment orders by providing information including features, pricing, availability, and shipping schedules
  • Assists customers in placing parts orders by providing general parts information, including pricing and availability
  • Receives and enters customer orders via email and online, assuring timely order processing
  • Follows the progress of orders and applicable revisions to ensure that shipment coincides with the product ordered and shipping dates
  • Answers and manages customer questions
  • Prepares and reviews export documents. including commercial invoices, packing lists, USMCA certificates, SLI’s, banking documents, sight drafts, L/C’s, etc.
  • Request freight quotes and arranges logistics for international shipments
  • Prepares equipment and part quotations
  • Create POs for intercompany equipment ordering
  • Contributes to best practices and process improvement
  • Performs other related, incidental, and similar duties as required

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Secondary degree preferred
  • Experience in telephone and email/ticketing system customer support is a plus
  • SAP, Zendesk and MS Excel experience preferred
  • Spanish proficiency preferred 

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively and professionally across levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
  • Ability to self-manage workload, deadlines, and priorities effectively

Standard and Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, stooping, bending and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
