Responsibilities

Key Projects and Responsibilities:

 

As a Project Management Intern, you will lead three major initiatives:

  1. Materials Database Development (PFEP):
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive database of all material containers
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and implement labeling systems
  • Develop digital tracking methods
  • Analyze data to drive packaging decisions
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership
  1. Packaging Improvement Project:
  • Lead end-to-end packaging optimization project
  • Create and execute project plans
  • Engage stakeholders and secure buy-in
  • Design and coordinate prototype development
  • Implement new packaging solutions in production
  1. Process Documentation:
  • Develop and organize standard work documentation
  • Create clear work instructions
  • Update and maintain department procedures
  • Ensure alignment with quality standards

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Track project metrics and milestones
  • Maintain project documentation
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Education:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Business Management
  • Process Engineering
  • Materials Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Project Management

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in teams

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk production floor regularly
  • Capable of lifting and handling materials as needed
  • Extended periods of computer work
  • Standing, bending, and moving throughout the facility
