Position Title: Consumer Care Intern
Location: Remote
Internship Type: Part-time

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Consumer Care Intern to join our remote team. You will play a hands-on role in strengthening customer support platforms, optimizing internal processes, and leveraging technology to improve the consumer experience. This internship will provide you with practical exposure to knowledge base management, data visualization, and process automation.

Responsibilities

As a Consumer Care Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to several high-impact projects, including:

Project #1: Knowledge Base Management

  • Organize existing knowledge articles for improved clarity and accessibility.
  • Support the development of new content to prepare for Chatbot integration.
  • Ensure the knowledge base meets the needs of both internal teams and external consumers on Speedqueen.com.

Project #2: Performance Dashboard Development and Service Support

  • Collect, and track critical metrics in the Service Support team.
  • Develop performance dashboards and reports, interacting with partners to facilitate data gathering and integration.

Project #3: General Admin & Automation Initiatives

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual reporting tasks
  • Incorporate automation into Power BI dashboards and support the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist with routine reporting and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Communications (content development/management – UX, UI), Customer Service Management, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology (with an understanding of virtual tools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest or coursework in digital content, user experience, data management, or customer service
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a remote team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software (Genesys, Zendesk, Power BI)
  • Analytical and highly organized
